Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of this website. They are separate from any written retainer or engagement letter, which takes priority once it is signed.

Using the site
You may use this website to read about our services, request an appointment, send an inquiry and sign a document. Please provide accurate information, keep your signing link private, and do not attempt to access another person’s records, interfere with the booking system, or upload unlawful or malicious files.
Appointments
A submitted booking is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Times are confirmed only after the firm approves them, and an approved slot is held for you on the understanding that you attend. If you need to reschedule, tell us as early as you can so the time can be released for someone with a deadline.
Online document signing
The signing workspace records your signature on a PDF. It does not verify your identity against government-issued photo identification, and it does not by itself produce a notarial certificate, an oath, or a commission. Where your recipient requires witnessing, an oath or an apostille, that step must be completed separately — see the legal disclaimer.
You confirm that you are the person whose name appears on the document, that you have authority to sign it, and that you sign it voluntarily. Once a signature is written into a PDF, the signed file cannot be silently edited to remove it; a correction means signing a fresh document.
No warranty
The website and its tools are provided as they are. We aim to keep them available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and we are not responsible for outages caused by third-party providers, your equipment, or events outside our control.
Intellectual property
The text, design and software on this website belong to NEAR Notary & Immigration or its licensors. The documents you upload remain yours; we claim no rights in them beyond what is needed to provide the service.
Limitation of responsibility
To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for losses arising from use of this website is limited to the fees paid for the service concerned, and does not extend to lost opportunities or to consequences of missing a deadline that was disclosed to us late.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction.
